This lovely stash of red and white fabric was just right for 18 little cushions. Moondew children will need a soft pillow to sit on at times.
I was grateful for the extra day to be here. I love days and days of 'home'. In America now, there is a new-ish phenomena where people are experiencing 'home.less-ness', as in 'never home'. Some children have never been at home for more than one day at a time- busy lives might mean a couple of days at childcare, a few at Nanna's house, days out shopping or doing errands, family and friend visits. I wonder how many Aussie kids might be in the same boat?
I wonder how anyone can create anything in a life without some good quality time at home. Perhaps, we can march for to right to stay home.
Sometimes, I put boundaries and limits around my trips out- just so I can stay home more!!
I see this life, of being a stay-at-home mum, as all too quickly slipping away and I want to cherish every moment of my time being home and with my baby boy.
It might be a while, perhaps retirement, to have these delightful home days again.

This is a cute book. It is called 'The Cute book'. Very apt!
