It was a whole bucket of wooden beads.
For those of us who craft, we know how expensive small wooden beads can become. In the local Spotlight store, 10 wooden beads can cost $2 or more.
The oh-so-clever-and-thrifty Robyn found her beads in one of those old taxi-driver favourites- the beaded carseat!!
Slowly, the bead chest has been going down and I was almost at the very bottom of the bucket when finally, after many years (!!!) of searching, I found my own beaded taxi-driver fave. Cries of joy!!!
Today, I pulled the thing apart whilst sitting in the sun watching Ned in the sandpit.
As I worked to fill the bucket, Ned worked to tip them out!
Here is the wooden bead goodness!
(Somewhere, I can hear a whisper... "What can you possibly do with all those wooden beads??" Keep an eye out, and I'll show you!!)
Good luck with your own wooden bead car seat cover treasure hunt! I hope you find one soon!

1 thoughtful sentiments from YOU!:
oooh! lucky you! I too have been searching for the elusive beaded car seat cover since Robyn showed us her catch! I did find a beaded blind once, but those were the wrong kind of beads...still useful though!
